Join with Cats for Christ during the entire first week of school to meet new people, worship God, and have fun before the semester really hits. Sunday, August 21: Welcome Sunday at Manhattan Church of Christ, 2510 Dickens Ave. (Class at 9:30, Worship at 10:30). Monday, August 22: Scavenger Hunt, 7:00 pm, Cats for Christ Campus Center, 1501 Denison - Go crazy around campus with your team, finding and photographing clues. Tuesday, August 23: Encounter, 7:00 pm, KSU Union North Dining - Powerful time of worship and praise for God. Call Hall ice cream to follow, right outside on Bosco Plaza. Wednesday, August 24: Coffee House, 8:30 pm, Cats for Christ Campus Center - Good coffee, good company, good music, good food. Thursday, August 25: Barbecue and Outdoor Games, 7:00 pm, Cats for Christ Campus Center - Fun and free food! We'll enjoy what's left of the summer with hamburgers, hot dogs, and more. Friday, August 26: Games, Movies, and Midnight Breakfast, 7:00 pm, Cats for Christ Campus Center - Hang out with new friends for a night of games, movies, late night food, and other ways to forget about the pile of homework from the first week. |

Saturday, August 21st, 10am: New Student Move In at the Dorms Sunday, August 22nd: Welcome Sunday at Manhattan Church of Christ (Class - 9:30am, Worship - 10:30am), Ultimate Frisbee at 3pm (President's Field), CFC and Life Group Info meeting, 5:30 at the Cats for Christ Campus Center followed by heading out to the K-State Pep Rally at Snyder Family Stadium together. Monday, August 23rd: 7:00pm - Guitar Hero, Uno, and Spoons Tournaments -- Bring your game face Tuesday, August 24th: BEST PIZZA IN MANHATTAN CONTEST ~ Vote for your faves! Wednesday, August 25th: 7:00pm - Union North Dining - Encounter at the Union/Ice Cream Social ~ A time of fellowship, worship, and CALL HALL ICE CREAM!! Thursday, August 26th:7:00pm - BBQ ~ A Night of Good Eats and Fun Friday, August 27th: 7:00pm - Coffee House - Relax with coffee, drinks, desserts, live music, and friends Saturday, August 28th: Noon - WATER FUN DAY - Water Fights and More! STARTING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2: Rebuilding Your Spiritual LifeA summer class series taught by Jim Baumgardner If your relationship with God has ever been non-existent, blasé, uncomfortable, complicated, perplexing, or even hurtful, then this study is something you might want to check out. By discussing how our spirituality can become so distorted, as well as how we can use the tools of God to reconstruct our spiritual lives, we'll discover together that even in our moments of deepest brokenness, when we can see nothing but ruin, God sees opportunities for blessing. | 05.18.08 | Get plugged into a LIFE Group! LIFE Groups are small groups of 6-12 people that meet weekly for togetherness, Bible study, prayer, and good times. This is one of the best ways to get connected to a true spiritual family and spend time each week with people who truly care about you. Currently there is one LIFE Group meeting through the summer on Sunday nights at 6pm at the Cats for Christ Campus Center (1501 Denison). Click here for more information! |
